Unfulfilled Desires

Riya’s POV

Even though Harsh has been gone for a week, it feels like he’s been gone for a lifetime. He had never left me alone before, and this was the first time he had gone so far away from me. I don’t understand how he lived without me when it was so difficult for him to spend even a day without me.

Harsh’s query to me the night before he left makes me wonder if he knows all about my and Rachit’s relationship. Now that he’s there, he’s so preoccupied with work that he won’t even answer my phone calls. He was always there for me when I needed him in the past. Perhaps, therefore, I was unaware of his value.

Rachit, who insisted on spending all of his time with me, has entirely changed his behavior toward me. His flirty comments and loving words have suddenly transformed into disputes and arguments between us. Since Harsh left, I don’t want to live in this place anymore.
