"Yug-Mi!" I exclaimed loudly upon seeing the image of my best friend standing right at my door. He had a big smile on his face. "What are you doing here?"

"Speaking like that makes it seem like you don't like seeing me," he said, clearly joking, still looking at me and smiling.

"I wouldn't expect anything less," Yug-Mi laughed, lowering his gaze. "But I came to settle some things in Seoul and was heading back to Busan, but I decided to stop by here, you know... tomorrow is your birthday, so I wanted to wish you personally."
