Chapter 44. Busan (4)
"I'm back!" I exclaimed as I entered the house.
"Hi, my angel," my mother greeted me from the couch.
"JaeMin, upstairs, come!" I heard JunKoo shout, followed by their laughter mixing together.
"They've been like this all afternoon," my mother said, sprawled out. "I couldn't even watch my soap opera."
"JaeMin, come here and see this quickly!" JunKoo shouted again, and once again, a new burst of laughter followed. I left my bag in the living room and ran to our room. With each step, the sound of their laughter grew louder, and as soon as I opened the door, I saw the real reason for all that laughter.
JunKoo was lying on the bed, and Jiwan was in the same position next to him, but like a little turtle, his head was raised, his little arms supported, and his face contorted with effort as he tried to sit up.
