"It was the first time I was leaving the house without Jiwan. I was with my best friend at a specialized clinic for pregnancy tests.

"Do you want me to come with you?" I asked SooJin when his name was called.

"No need. Stay here, you shouldn't exert yourself too much. Just coming with me was already significant," he replied.

"I would come a thousand more times, Jinie. I wouldn't let you go through this alone."

My friend smiled and nodded before following a nurse into one of the rooms. After about five minutes, he returned, holding a bandage on his arm and smiling widely. He was so happy that I couldn't help but smile along with him.

"The nurse said that all the symptoms indicate that I am indeed pregnant, but it was good that I came for the test," he said.

"When will the results come out?"

"In three hours. Do you want to grab a coffee, or should we go straight home?&q
