MARCO’S POINT OF VIEW

I lied.

I told Marga I’ll be off to work, but I’m off somewhere else. I decided to go to her auntie to finally ask for her hand. I need her blessing before proposing to her. I nervously drove to their house, and immediately saw Auntie, watering her plants.

“Auntie!” I waved at her, and she smiled as soon as she saw me.

“What brings you here? Is Marga with you?” she asked. “I saw the photos from yesterday’s runway. My niece is so gorgeous!” she said proudly.

“She is always beautiful, auntie,” I chuckled, “But she is not with me right now. I want to talk to you about something. Can we go inside your house?” I asked, and she guided me inside.

“Is Lucas here?” I asked.

“Yes. Should I call him? He’s probably dressing up for work,” Auntie said.

“I wanted to talk to him as well,” I said.

“Is there something wrong, Marco?” auntie asked me, but i chuckled and said no. She gets up to knock at Lucas’s room
