Chapter 19. Asshole Boy

The two eyes that had been closed for a long time finally opened their eyes. Her glazed eyes stared at the ceiling of the room. Last night's image flashed through his mind again, making him take a deep breath to suppress the tight feeling that had resurfaced in his chest. Especially when he realized that he was in the room alone. The figure that made him unable to think clearly was not found there. Making Aurel just silent, staring blankly out the bedroom window. What did he expect? Expecting Abi to wait for him to open his eyes and then greet him with that man's sweet smile?

"Your madam is awake?" The voice of a maid entering her room was heard. Even so, Aurel seemed reluctant to turn around or greet him as usual. He didn't want to lie that he wasn't feeling well right now.

"Mr. Abi asked me to look after you and make sure you take the medicine-"
