Chapter 51. Reasons to Survive
Abi suddenly laughed loudly and crisply, making Hendri, who had been tense because of the man's silence and gripping aura, frown in confusion. He looked strangely at his master who still hadn't stopped laughing. The man even roughly wiped away a tear from his eye because he was laughing so hard. What exactly was his master laughing at? Why did Hendri suddenly feel stupid because he couldn't understand his master?
"And you believe it?"
Hendri was silent when his master asked about his beliefs. He wanted to ward it off, but he was in a position of half believing, half not. Wanting to say yes is afraid of hurting his master's trust. That's why Hendri remained silent with his face lowered, making Abi who saw him just chuckle sarcastically. I didn't believe it but tried to understand it. Maybe Hendri's suspicions were because he had given orders to him to find out about Zein and Lesmara down to their roots.
