Chapter 78. Choice

Aurel opened his eyes immediately when his sleep was disturbed by a noise. As a reflex she turned to the side, the other part of the bed was empty - she couldn't see her husband. The sound of screaming, breaking objects, punches and even gunshots sounded loudly outside, making the woman rush out of bed. His right hand quickly grabbed his pistol which he always kept in the locker next to the bed. Of course, just in case something like this happens.

He opened the door to his room immediately, finding a sudden attack from someone. Luckily the woman had time to pull her face back, if it had been a little too late her beautiful face might have been battered before she started.
