Chapter 92. A Witch Like Her
Mia braced herself and breathed out a puff of cold air as she walked up to meet with her Grams.
“What do you want with me?” she asked. Her eyes narrowed down her Grams ankle. There’s no magic lock on her anymore.
“What I have always wanted from you.”
She’s still determined to kill her. Ending Mia’s life means putting an end to witches helping vampires. This could serve as a stern warning to other witches who play a part in vampires’ business.
“The ankle, it’s gone. How?”
For a moment, she thought her Gram was the one that broke the lock. When she was told Dave had removed the magic lock, her eyes saddened with a pale look on her face. She looks defeated and subdued.
“Now, on your knees…” she gnawed. “I will make this quick.”
Mrs. Brick summoned the spirits of the witches killed on the full moon for them to witness the death of a witch that brought their sudden demise. At least, this action will appease them as they journey peacefully beyond
