Selene's POV

I nervously started asking questions of my classmates. Fortunately, none of them were together, which is why I hoped that Dominic and I would really be partners.

But...

"Wow," I said, mixed with sarcasm.

The smile of the person in front of me was almost ear-to-ear. He seems to be very happy that I am his partner.

"Why don't you seem to want to be with me?" He asked with a laugh.

I immediately winced and said, "Because the last time we were partners, you almost dragged me to the exit of the haunted house. And now you're still happy?" I spoke to him with mixed complaints.

He even beat me as a girl.

"Eh, because, bff, you're a good companion. I can make you a shield— bath soap hates pain and cares—ouch!"
