Selene's POV

I was stunned when I saw the color of his eyes.

"...how?" That's what came out of my mouth while looking at his face.

What happened to him while I was unconscious? Did they do something to him?

My right hand felt cold as it caressed her left cheek. My heart was beating too fast because of my negative thoughts.

"I can clearly see that you are now worried about what you see in me," he said before grabbing my hand that was holding his cheek.

He smiled at me sweetly and said, "But Selene, you don't have to worry about me anymore."

What is he saying?

"Ah—" I stopped speaking when I suddenly felt as if someone was stabbing me in the chest.

I immediately removed my grip from him and quickly grabbed my chest.

I closed my eyes in pain and groaned loudly.

"It looks like we're running out of time. I'll explain everything to you later. For now, follow what I tell you." He said it in a hurry.
