Chapter 296. At the Dry Desert
“We are here for Set.”
Horus has not been in a good mood since he heard that his uncle Set has taken his mother captive and other noble gods of Egypt. He was burning in fear but was calm until he could lay his eyes on Set and then unleash his anger.
“Set has abandoned his dwelling,” said Anubis as he positioned his staff. He has been out in search of Set. There were lots of souls crossing to the afterlife from Egypt. These souls were killed by Set when he unleashed chaos on Egypt because of Horus interfering with his business in Maxis.
As the god of the afterlife, Anubis is unpleased to see wandering and lost souls in their numbers. It wasn’t time for them to die but out of Set’s wrath, many have lost their lives in Egypt.
