Chapter 60. The Visit

The Sheriff was indeed troubled after hours of not hearing from Jack and Lewis. He initiated a search party and instructed the rest of his deputies on how to begin their search and precaution measures to take, “The city is evil,” he said.

It was already morning and there was still no sign of Jack or Lewis. However two deputies saw Jack and Lewis’ police cruiser abandoned at lane 89. “We need to call in the sheriff,” said one of the deputies as he quickly bought out his talkie.

At Thomas high school, it was already time for assembly when Clara sighted Helen walking towards her.
