Chapter 48. The Displeasure
Celestina Villarama's POV
My whole body became quite numb, and I could barely hear any sound that came from the people I saw passing here and there. Not until a man who was supposed to be out of my league came to pick me up from the ground with his bare hands, carrying me through his arms as he dropped me on a long sofa and then sat on the opposite edge.
"With that fragile expression in your eyes, I can tell that Celeste finally let you go," Siege said as he gave me a cup of tea that was in the center of the table in front of us. "Do you remember what happened? Do you share memories with Celeste, or are you completely unaware of your surroundings when she's the one in control of your entire conscience?" he asked consecutively, making it seem like he was dying to know the answers.
I nodded my head twice. "I can see and hear everything even if she's the one taking over. Isn't it the same for you and everyone else here?" I asked this time, and the alpha shook his head
