He then placed his arm behind her and drew her so close to him that there was no space between them. Miranda’s mind had shut down at this point, and she had no choice but to follow his lead. She never imagined her first dance would be as sensuous, enchanting, and intense as this. She wondered if this was how Cinderella felt when she danced with the prince for the first time.
“I don’t have a frown on my face. I’m just unhappy you didn’t get the opportunity to present me as more than an assistant.” She expressed her feelings.
