Daphne’s POV

The pain was unlike anything I have ever experienced. It wouldn’t leave. I tried to get up, but Alexander took my hand and got me back to sit down. As I looked at his face, he looked worried and concerned.

“What happened?” I asked him and his nose looked like it smelled a bad smell. When I started to smell I got the images of old blood.
