As I looked out the window of the car, I felt a tinge of sadness in my chest. I had grown accustomed to the quiet and peaceful life in the suburb, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I also enjoyed spending time with Isla and our family and seeing Felix happy playing with our younger cousins.
But now, we were heading back to the reality of their city lives. I knew that school and other responsibilities awaited me, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of dread. However, I also felt grateful for the time I had spent in the suburb, and the memories she had made with Isla, Felix, and our families.
