Reina's Pov

As I turn to leave, Thomas's voice stops me in my tracks. "I don't trust you, Reina," he says. "I think you're going to run to Rojas with every piece of information you can get."

I can feel my frustration building inside of me. "Not everyone is like you, Thomas," I retort.

"If we're going to work together for Kylian's sake, I need to be able to trust you," Thomas continues. "So, tell me, how did you convince Kylian to run for prime minister when I couldn't?"

I take a deep breath before answering. "I supported Kylian's decision because I believe in him and his abilities. And if you want me to earn your trust, you need to give me a chance."

"I don't trust you because you trespassed on my property," Thomas says sternly.

I raise an eyebrow. "I didn't know Kylian is your property. But fine, don't trust me. It's not my problem."

With that, I walk away, leaving Thomas standing alone in the hallway.
