Chapter 121. His Frigid Heart

"This deal will take effect starting tomorrow, do not forget a single word from everything I've told you," Nick said as he walked without looking back at her. He just made sure his voice was loud enough for Kate to hear and understand.

When Kate realized what he meant by those words, she rushed to walk behind him. She needed to ask questions.

"Nick," she called out as soon as she caught up with him in the hallway. "I don't know where your place is exactly," she eagerly explained. She was worried he would not like her being so clingy or bothering him so much.

"I will send a driver to get you from school and send you to my place. Just let me know your schedule," Nick did not mind her following around, so he answered casually. 

And by casually, to Kate, it was coldly. Adding to it, Nick did not even glance at her. 

"I'll go get them now," Kate quickly ran towards her room.

"I'll be out of here in ten minutes. Just send it to my phone," N
