Chapter 126. Guilty

"Principal Johnston! How are you doing? I'm here for Kate Taylor, Sir," Nick shook hands with Principal Francis Johnston as soon as he got close to the older man.

"I have been trying to ask her some questions, but she won't say anything. Maybe she is waiting for you before she does," Principal Johnston smiled widely as soon as he recognized the person who came for the student in his office at the moment. He was relieved to know he did not upset Kate with his interrogating questions. He just asked for mild information anyway, or at least that's what he thought he did.

Nick sat properly across from where Kate was sitting with her head bowed down. The Principal asked for anything Nick would like to drink, but the young Eudovic politely declined. As Kate's guardian, Nick was eager to find out what had happened more than anything right now. So, Principal Johnston sat at the head of the table and started to ask.
