Chapter 3

A few moments later, Brett was on the phone, convincing Mr. Dunn that he had something he needed to see immediately, and that he was going to call a meeting with everyone for 4:00 that afternoon. It was Friday, so he desperately wanted to get this done before the weekend, in order to prevent any more time being wasted on all of this, which was just ultimately costing the Dunns more money through their business being closed.

Mr. Dunn was there within thirty minutes, giving them just a few minutes to talk about what they’d found. Mr. Dunn’s eyes grew wide as he watched Sandy stealing from him in the video.

When the video was over, Brett was the first to speak. “Mr. Dunn, I have to highly recommend that you file a counter suit against the plaintiff. In this, you’d demand damages for the items stolen as well as payment of all of your legal fees to me.”

“I couldn’t do that,” Mr. Dunn said. “She’s going to have a baby in a few months. I don’t want to ruin her, I just wan
