We spent another day with Cullum and his family. Abigail looked lovely. We kept sneaking her food from outside.
"How did you do with those books?" she inquired.
"Here, Sofia oversaw the work. "They mostly warned of past deeds that needed to be addressed," I explained.
"So they were useful?" She inquired.
"In a sense. I learned what not to do but not what I should do." I said.
That afternoon, my mother arrived. She appeared to be in bad shape. I guess my father's stress is really getting to her.
