Chapter 82
I went to see the Blue Moon pack the next day, against my better judgment. It didn't look like I expected it to. Viktor claims that things have changed dramatically since Scott's death. It seemed to have a pall over it. I approached the pack house and knocked. Nobody responded. I turned the knob, but the door was locked. I pounded even harder. When that didn't work, I yelled for someone to open the door right away.
"I'm not saying anything because I'm using your command so soon," Viktor said.
"Good, keep it that way," I said, my gaze fixed on him.
A little girl opened the door. "Hello little girl, is your mother home?" I said because I couldn't remember her name.
"No, Mommy isn't here," she explained.
"Is your brother home?" I inquired.
"No, my brother's dead," she stated flatly.
"Are you talking about Scott?" I inquired.
"No, Scott died a long time ago," she stated flatly.
I took a look at Viktor. What does this possibly imply?
