“We are going to the village elder.” Mama said and Papa froze. As if time was still.

“You’re kidding, right?”

“Hans. We need to know more about this.. enemy we’ll possibly be dealing with in the future.” Mama glared at him. Papa could only groan and agree.

Johanis looked at them and sighed. “Being married surely is tiring.”

Our parents chuckled but mama said it is much too early for us to be thinking about it.

She's right, though. We aren't even sure if we could survive this whole tree monster dilemma.

And thus back to the village elder.
