Mirabel gently pulled the ring from her finger, making sure not to touch the sharp pointed end at the top, since it still had part of the drugs on it, she placed it on the table together with her hand gloves, removed her shoes, and placed both legs on the table.
“No wonder all your suitors left you, after all the fine training aunt and uncle gave you to be able to infiltrate human society,” Bill muttered, as he looked at the window.
He saw a small shadowy figure coming towards the house, “See you later, you still have one more issue to deal with.” Bill stood up, and slung Stephanie over his shoulder as if she was a sack of rice, before waving Mirabel off.
Mirabel breathed in and out, “Okay, show time…”
Evie, skipped back to the house like she was a schoolgirl in love on a school night, her insides felt all tingly and she was so joyous, that she got to the Kitchen porch, but before she could open the door, it opened on its own.
