Chapter 49

Arabella's point of view.

A loud bang on my door disturbed my peaceful sleep, I reached for my pillow and covered my ears as I tried to go back to sleep.

But unfortunately, someone is against me and doesn't want me to sleep.

Another louder bang came and I was forced to open my eyes, I sat up and threw a malicious glare towards the door, wishing my glare would just send whoever is behind that door six feet under.

Anger was still boiling in me, until I took a whiff of the scent coming from the door and I realized it's Arthur.

I gritted my teeth and balled my fist, of course, it's him because no one would bang on my door like a mad dog -I growled mentally.

I was so ready to storm over and beat him black and blue, but then last night's event replayed in my head and my face heated up as embarrassment got the best of me -I mean, I'm never gonna get the end of it from Arthur today.
