Arabella's point of view.

We (Wymond, mom, Arthur and I) sat in a very awkward silence, we're all staring at our laps or hands as if there's nothing left to say.

Meanwhile, my mom wouldn't stop looking between Wymond and I knowingly, which is making me even more embarrassed.

We're currently seated around the dinning table, mom cooked and Wymond assisted him -they were rounding up when Arthur dragged me in earlier.

Talk about the devil, Arthur cleared his throat dramatically and reached for his fork, then released an extremely loud sigh.

"Mom" he paused and yawned. "I couldn't sleep last night because I kept hearing some weird noises"

My cheeks exploded and I felt myself sinking in my chair, I kept my head down and kicked his leg under the table.

Stop it! I growled at him through the mind-link, but he ignored me and continued.

"I kept hearing squeaky sound and I was wondering if someone was moving their bed" he paused, then ta
