Book 3: Chapter 37

I laid my head on the metal table and let out a frustrated sound for the hundredth time. For the first hour, it was hard to sit still. Especially since there was a sore spot on my bottom from where Trev had bitten me. Now my butt was so numb I did not feel anything at all.

I had been sitting in this damn room for five hours now. Answering the same damn questions over and over and over again. It had gotten so bad that before they got the question all the way out, I was answering it.

“Ok, let’s go through this one more time,” said the pudgy detective that I had long ago stopped trying to remember his name.

He took a loud slurp of coffee once again, and I lifted my head up enough so I could glare at the cup. If he did that one more time, I swore I was going to take that damn cup, throw it in his face, and hope to God the coffee was still hot.

“What happened right when you woke up?” the detective asked.

I sighed. “I have told you what happened.”
