It was Aiden’s court date, and many people were eager to see how things would turn out.
Many people hoped that the judiciary would not favor the wealthy as it has in the past, so that the boy may serve as an example of how the law does prevail in the city with the new government.
It was going to be the worst day of Aiden Sr’s life, and he wished it could be postponed, but no one ever skips a day.
Aiden Jr. pleaded guilty to his charges before he could even appear in court; the case was set to start at noon, and Aiden Sr. learned of his plea early in the morning.
Aiden agreed to reveal where he buried the caretaker’s body in exchange for leniency in his first case because he has another second case in which he is charged with the murder of Nora Green, dubbed “The Rich vs. the Rich.”
