Chapter 127. Don't Hate Her

Chris’s POV

After Your Silver left, I left the courtroom through the other door and sped to Black Hills market.

 It was just my attempt to avoid a repeat of argument with Sasha and Vanessa.

 They were back to their old habit of coaxing me into making decisions that’d favor and punish who they’d like.

 It was usually the maids and I thought Vanessa had overgrown that and became more matured.

Her best friend’s return brought everything back.

 I took of my royal garments amd turned them inside out.

 It was a darker shade of brown inside so I wore it on top, to assume a less recognizable appearance.

 Not many wolfs in Black Hills knew what I looked like. I could easily walk around and get some well deserved peace.

 “Till someone recognizes and throw stones at you.” Zeke scoffed.

 What had I done to him? Or to the wolfs who’d stone at me? “If you have nothing good to say, be silent.”
