My uncles had gotten experience. Together with my mother, they had ruled the pack.

The eldest had been her Beta, the middle her Delta, while the youngest her warrior. They only shifted the positions after I was born.

So if they said they sensed a Lycan, they bloody did. Right now, they were on and on about their adventures and brave travels.

I used to enjoy their stories when they told Jake, but as they never cared to tell me, I ignored it. Now, they were bragging to Jonah about them.

“How close did you sense it to be?” I asked, interrupting them.

The middle uncle smirked. “Why, you don’t trust us?”

“I do. There has been rumor in our kingdom, I just need to know where you sensed it,” I replied calmly.

His furrowed eyebrows straightened. “Miles away, and it had bad energy. It might have been close but only for a while.”
