Chapter 7. Back to Work

Mariah didn’t do much after Mason dropped her off. After talking to Blaire, Mariah called her parents and her sister to listen to their voices as a day in Adam’s mansion felt like years. Every minute was hell for here.

She didn’t know if she’ll ever get out of there alive. She’s still alive right now and she wanted to hug everyone she loved so badly but it isn’t possible through phone so she just heard their voices and it was more than enough for her.

Lastly Mariah called her best friend, Rayan. He has been Mariah’s best friend since they were middle school. Mariah didn’t have much friends form middle school and high school. She was fat back then and everyone bullied her except Rayan.

He was the first one to approach Mariah when she saw her sitting alone a bench watching girls play volleyball. Mariah left town to study medicine while Rayan doesn’t really have a p
