Chapter 70

"Where's your bathroom, Kim, I've gotta pee." I needed to leave that basement. I couldn't listen to anymore of their dirty conversations. It was becoming annoying.

"Come, I'll show you." Kim got on his feet, but Uche drew him back and paused the game.

"You don't have to show her, I'm sure you can just direct her to it." Uche said while giving a look I couldn't decipher.

"Chill bro, she has no problem if I show her to the bathroom." Kim defended. "Do you?" He turned to me but before I could say a word...

"Let him show her, by the time he's back, I'd have whoop your ass and we can start the game over." Nick joined in, impatient to continue his game with Uche and supporting Kim.

I followed behind as Kim took the stairs leading out of the basement. It was awkwardly silent as he led the way. We went up some higher flights of stairs and then we stopped at the front of a door midway through the hallway.
