Chapter 16

Jayson’s POV

When I heard Patricia got into an accident, I went numb and quickly ran to the hospital. I even forgot about Elsa for a second. I texted her about the situation quickly after I arrived at the hospital.

When I went there, Patricia was already in a coma.

“What happened?” My friend, Tim, was already in the hospital.

“Well they said that she was driving at high speed and then the road was too slippery because it’s raining so her car slipped and crashed into an electricity pole.”

“That girl.”

“She’s been missing you and she’s crazy when she heard you already got someone else.”

Tim is one of  my close friends but he is closer to Patricia than me so he knows everything about her.

“She’s the one who left me so it’s not my fault.”

“She- argh it’s not my place to tell the story.”

I sat on the hospital chair and felt guilty. I don’t know why I’m so panicked about her being hospitalized. I kept waitin
