Hubert chuckled, nodding in agreement. However, his mirth was short-lived as he caught Dominic Henry’s piercing gaze fixated on both him and Winston. While Hubert didn’t fear him per se, he wanted to avoid any unnecessary troubles for Winston.

Dominic’s glare suggested that he could, at any moment, choke the life out of the man beside him. Not just Winston; anyone close enough seemed to be in Dominic’s crosshairs. With Dominic’s capabilities, he could easily engage multiple adversaries at once. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say a Superhuman level 6 like him could take on ten Superhuman level 5s at their peak. Such a stark disparity was utterly chilling.

The tense atmosphere was suddenly shattered by Gideon’s voice: "Allan, when will you release Enda from your hypnotic grip? Do you find pleasure in turning someone into a mere puppet? Does being with a puppet satisfy you?"

"I’ve said it before. I’ll release her, but not now." Allan retorted.
