Chapter 33. Painkillers

Aryan's pov

I got to my room and opened my wardrobe. I sorted around my sleeping pills, looking for a painkiller. I took out the pain killer from my wardrobe and bottled water from the fridge before hurrying back to her room.

"Roseanne... here... take these," I said and gave her the pills to take

"Thank you," she muttered and took the d***s

"Now you just have to sleep." My voice was nearly a whisper. I covered the bottle of water and placed it on the bedside before tucking her back into the bedsheet. "Sleep tight," I whispered to her and caressed her back.

I closed my eyes, hoping she would quickly fall asleep.

"Sleep tight Roseanne," I said and lay next to her on the bed

After making sure that she was asleep, I stood up from the bed and decided to make a quick phone call

"Find out all you know about my wife," I said and ended the call, i made my way toward the kitchen and ordered the chef to prepare healthy food for her
