We got to the airport at the exact time that the plane would leave and luckily the plane didn't leave without us, "That's the power money holds, I thought and soon I found myself inside the plane

The flight back to the city was a silent one, and I knew better than to start up a conversation with Aryan. I didn't know how he was going to react to it.

"My driver is waiting for you outside the airport. Go home and I'll be back by dusk," Aryan said as soon as the plane landed.

"How do you intend to get to the hospital, then?" I asked.

"I've made arrangements for that. Your only job is to follow my instructions," Aryan ordered.

"But I'd love to see your father, too. You're not the only one who is worried." The words escaped my lips and Aryan threw me a death glare, but I couldn't comprehend why because I said nothing wrong so deserved his heartless reaction.

"Go home, Roseanne, and do not argue further about this."
