Chapter 48. White Cards
The rings were amazing.
“I have pretty good taste,” I joked and collected the ring box. “Yes, you do. Although it’s expensive too,” he said.
“I only have a life to live so I am going to enjoy it,” I replied.
“Do you want to try on the rings?” he asked me.
“Nope, I’ll wait till our wedding,” I said.
“I guess we are almost done with all our appointments, we only need to go see the venue and get married,” he said.
“Yeah, and I need to get the invitation cards and give a few to you,” I reminded myself.
“I hope that won’t cost a lot of money too?” He asked me.
“Why are you asking?” I asked still admiring the rings.
“Because your parents won’t provide you with money, you don’t have a job and you haven’t paid me for agreeing to this contract,” he pointed out.
“You just had to spoil the beautiful moment,” I said annoyed at his words. I closed the ring box and placed it beside my phone.
