Chapter 21. Questions
"I'm glad you held a press conference to explain everything," Mrs. Sonya's voice from the living room stopped Andrew in his tracks as he arrived home from the office.
"Grandma, you're still awake?" Andrew turned towards the elderly woman who was sipping chamomile tea from her cup. He reached for her wrinkled hand and kissed it with reverence before taking a seat next to Mrs. Sonya.
"I heard from Tom that you also talked to Emma's mother," she continued.
Andrew smiled and nodded, "Yes, everything is fine, Grandma. Don't worry too much, okay?"
Mrs. Sonya turned to look at Andrew and cupped his young cheeks with her wrinkled hands, "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree."
Confused, Andrew frowned, listening to Mrs. Sonya's words.
"Your father also fell in love with your mother the first time he saw her working at the cash register of one of our supermarkets," Mrs. Sonya said, taking another sip of tea.
