Chapter 28. Don't Ever Fall in Love

"Tell me the amount. I will reimburse the money Andrew spent. Cancel this marriage, don't involve yourself in the whirlpool of issues you don't even understand," Shawn tried to persuade.

"I... I..." Emma's words were interrupted by Andrew's presence. "There you are," the young man said, looking towards Shawn. That night, Shawn was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt rolled up to his elbows and khaki pants. "Don't attempt to flirt with my future wife."

Shawn smirked, showing a dimple on his left cheek, "I'm not trying to flirt with her."

Emma looked at the two young men before her. Were they really cousins? Why was there a sense of animosity between them?

"I was just having a conversation with Mr. Shawn."

"Mr.?" Andrew raised both his eyebrows, "This isn't the office, you don't need to call him 'Mr.'"

"Even in the office, you don't need to call me 'Mr.'," Shawn added, "I've asked you several times."

Emma could only grin, observing the tension unfoldi
