Chapter 58. Incitement

Emma left her mother's house with a heavy heart. Mona had reminded her once again not to talk to Andrew about all of this. But how could she not? 

"Don't make Andrew suffer," her mother's words kept echoing in Emma's mind.

Emma was about to step into the house when she crossed paths with Frida Jonas, who had just come out of the house.

"Hello, Aunt Frida," Emma greeted.

"Oh, hi, Emma," Frida paused in her tracks. "I heard you just returned from Istanbul with Andrew a few days ago."

"Yes," Emma replied briefly, not eager to engage with the woman. Especially after she had learned that Frida was one of the people behind the car accident that killed Andrew's parents. How could someone who had caused harm to the host family have the audacity to freely enter and leave the house they had intentionally harmed?

"How was Istanbul? Enjoyable?" Frida smiled cynically.
