Chapter 71. The Sea of Sorrow
The glass in the cabinet that Andrew had smashed had just been replaced with a new one, but for the past three days, Andrew and Emma hadn't spoken to each other. The young man even chose to sleep in the library. He would only enter his room to shower and change clothes. Emma was doing the same. She didn't come down to the dining room at meal times, just like today.
"Please bring breakfast to Emma and make sure she eats it," Andrew said to Sara, and the woman nodded in response. In the next moment, he arranged some bread, fruits, and milk on a tray, then hurried upstairs to deliver it to Emma.
"How long do you plan to keep this up, Andrew?" Mrs. Sonya cut her bread in front of him, showing no appetite to eat it.
Andrew, as calm as the surface of a lake, shook his head gently. He reached for the orange juice on the table and took a few sips before standing up and respectfully kissing Mrs. Sonya's cheek. "I have to go now, Grandma."
