Chapter 166. Queen's Plan

Xavier fisted his hand and glared at Angel and Clara before leaving the place with rage. 

"I appreciate your help. But you can carry your king's order with everyone. I am fine here." Angel replied curtly, wanting Duke to leave the place. She doesn't want to come into any rumor at all. 

King's dearest General guarding princess Angel, is not surely a good rumour to be heard.

"I am here to guard no one but you." Duke's words made Angel shift her gaze to meet his as he was staring at the ground giving her respect. 

He gave a letter to her. The royal signature shows that it's indeed from the mighty King. 

Angel opened the paper and looked at the content, twisting her eyebrows. 

"I know that this little princess is capable of taking care of herself. 

But, the princess should also know that if she is someone important to the king, he will not leave her alone to handle her problems. I will be protecting you.
