Chapter 172. Stubborn Princess

"Why don't the king join me for the dance?" Damn her mouth. Why does she has to pick such words? 

Damon was smirking at her as if he won the unseen love war between them. 

Everyone saw Angel with so much rage but they had a small smile too because there was no way King Damon Augustine would agree to dance with this girl who was rumoured to be too ugly. 

"Apologies, your majesty. My sister is naive." Celena came to the center and she bowed her head.

"Angel, you can't ask like this," Celena said with a smile to humiliate her in front of all. Angel stood there without taking her eyes off Damon alone. 

She didn't want to dance with him but at the same time when Celena made this attempt to insult her, Angel wanted Damon to prove her wrong. At least he can do that much right?

Damon came down and received lots of gasps. 

Jennifer was the only one who was so shocked to see his son's softness towards this girl.
