Chapter 174. Trap

"Why can't you first protect yourself?" Duke asked in his dangerous tone. He caught Xavier trying to misbehave with Clara and she yet again let him do it. 

"I can't afford to fight. They will kill me. I don't care about that. But I can't leave the Princess alone behind." Clara replied with tears in her eyes. Seeing tears, his grip loosened. 

"I want to marry you, Clara." That was so sudden from Duke's side. He didn't waste even a second to hold himself back. He cupped her cheeks.

"I have seen many girls and even got chased by many. But you are special. There is something in you and I could see myself in it." Duke added and it's the fact that both of them are the same when it comes to saving Angel and Damon.
