Chapter 193. Beautiful Moments

"I didn't know that the princess is that desperate to stop this engagement?" Damon asked as soon as they were left alone in her chamber. Angel walked back as he forwarded each step towards her. 

"When the king is head over heels for me, how can I miss this opportunity?" Angel replied as she didn't take her eyes off his eyes. Damon smirked as he reached her side in no seconds and Angel was left with no option but to stand there in the corner of the wall. Damon caged her in between his arms. 

"If that reason helped me get this princess, I am glad I fell for you first," Damon whispered near her ears and she was not able to even breathe in his proximity. 

"By the way, without the mask, I barely could keep myself from kissing you," Damon added as he finally got to see her blushing cheeks which turned like tomatoes. Damon wondered if she looked like this every time he flirted with her. 

"I thought the king paid no attention to my face," Angel commented
