Chapter 141

Who Is This?

Ethan had barely begun to pull off Kylie’s shirt and sweater when her phone buzzed to let her know that she’d received a message from Facebook. She tried to answer it, but Ethan scooped it out of her hand. Not knowing who the message was from, Kylie cried out, “Give it back! It might be important!”

Ethan took a look at the screen and saw that it was from someone called “Stars.”

“Stars?” he wondered aloud. “Who is this, and what kind of a name is that?”

Kylie’s face turned red in embarrassment but, when she tried to get her phone back, he allowed it. Knowing that Ethan still expected an explanation, she avoided his eyes and said, “Star is just a friend of mine...”
