Stephen was preparing a medical paper when he received an Instant Message from Kylie. “Hi,” it said.

Viewing the message, Stephen stopped for a second and wrote: “Whatever you need, I am here for you.”

Kylie: “I need a shoulder to cry on.”

Stephen frowned as his heart ached for this girl. “That is not a problem,” he replied. “Anything that I can do for you, I will do.”

Kylie: “Liar. You aren’t even in the same country as I am. How can you give me your shoulder to cry on?”

“Look up into the sky, and you will see me,” Stephen wrote. “We are both looking up at the same stars. If we look up at the same time, we are practically standing side by side.”

Kylie opened her window and looked up. The stars were shining in the night, but the pure cold moon made her feel sad. “The moon that you see must be different from the one that I see,” Kylie wrote. “The sky is so vast, and when I look up into it, I feel alone...”
