Chapter 61

As always my mother has put on an incredible party and as always there is way too much food and drink, if there’s one thing my mother never does it’s skimp on food or drink. The house is insanely crowded with over 100 people in here but the atmosphere is incredible and everyone is relaxed and enjoying so I can’t complain.

“Your mother is always a legend with her parties!” Josh says as he comes to stand beside me, he’s had his fair share of the refreshments but he’s nowhere near drunk and I know he won’t be, not while he’s here anyway. I nod agreeing as I spot my beautiful girl over in a corner talking with my Mom and Helen and the sight makes my heart pound. If someone had told me 6 months ago that I would be where I am now with a beautiful girlfriend and a daughter, I would have laughed in their face but now that I’m here, I wouldn’t change it for the world.
