“Everything is okay with you and Levi, right? I noticed that sometimes your mind is somewhere else.”

So, Gio and I sat on the back terrace, drinking beer and snacking on Mama’s homemade crisp cookies. Luisa, Robert, my parents, and Gio had been in Bali for two days. Kathy couldn’t join us because my nephew, Brian, was still too young to travel. So, it was just my brother. There was no particular reason for this gathering, just a chance to get together. Levi missed his parents, and they were excited to see me again. Since Kathy got pregnant and gave birth, my brother rarely came home, so this was the perfect moment. Even though I had visited them in Melbourne, I was still happy to see him again.
